Woo hoo! As of two days ago, I completely finished A Hikari's Love, and A Hikari's Betrayal. Now both of them are on their way to being edited by my lovely editor. In other words I suggest sending the puppy-dog-eyes her way if you want to see it updated. Then I edit "Checkmate" (and spend about 3 hours uploading everything @.@) and everyone is happy! Sooo... assuming I can harrass my roommate into editing quickly, my laptop doesn't fry (for the umpteenth time), and I can get a few hours spare time, everything should be uploaded within a month or so. (I want to say a week but look what happened the last time I tried to guesstimate update times >.<

On a more personal note, I have a new kitten! My dad found her, I adopted her and her name is Nutmeg. ^_^

EDIT:
ARgh! One day, ONE DAY, I shall learn to not prod Murphy when it comes to updating. My laptop has a virus. More than likely it will be dead soon... as in completely everything lost dead. Thank God I just backed up everything. Unfortunately, once I get my chapters back from my editor, there is no telling when I'll be able to update. *sigh*

Sequel to BAG Hikari. Two and a half millennia after she has joined her new kinsman, Raeya Kimani appears, this time alone, angry and miserable. The bards speak of a terrible incident, one which truly did drive her mad. Now she must deal with a responsibility from her past, accompanied (begrudgingly on her part) by two of the most unlikely companions.

Urgh. I was so close, so close! My Tarence and Lillian sidestory was almost completed, and A Hikari's Love was down to it's last 2 chapters. Then my awful laptop fries it's motherboard for the second time in a year. It is now on it's way back to the manufacturer, and they told me it would take 2-4 weeks for it to return. If the result is anything like the last one, it will be another three months before I can get it back. What does this mean for my wonderful readers?

That you will probably be left at that awful cliff hanger for a lot longer than I originally intended. I was hoping to have my sidestory, the next chapter (seven, am I on?), and the epilogue all out on the same day, sometime in march, if not late Feb. in order to make up for leaving you at the end of six (I'm assuming it was six I should really check). Whether or not I end up stuck at this point depends on where I last backed up my writing on my jumpdrive. Honestly, I haven't had the heart to check yet, because I'm pretty sure I'm about 6 pages behind, if not much much more. I should never have stopped writing everything down by hand first. >.<

Even so, I may just deal with it and rewrite what I have lost, and be able to have everything out by the end of March, mebbe early April. Rest assured that when I do update, it will be with the final two chapters and a large (much larger than I originally intended) sidestory starring Tarence and Lillian. A veritable cornucopia of goodness. ^_^ I may even put up a teaser of my next project as a peace offering for the horrible wait.

So I've moved to college. Not as great as I was told it would be. Mainly cause I'm not a stay up til 3 go to class at 7 type of person. And my floor is full of these people denying me my sleep. There is one wonderful thing however, I have managed to discover the Society for Creative Anachronisms. These people are awesome. They're the people you see at the faires with the swords and the costumes and all that. I've got a video if you wanna see more cause I don't feel like explaining it all.
